If you are Greek or Yunan, as they like to call us in Asia, and i like it a lot this place is Persepolis is a must see attraction in Iran with no doubt!! It was the ancient Persian Kings who paid vast sums of money to first rebuild the Jerusalem Holy Temple, then the city walls and finally the city itself.
The ancient Israelities had complete Freedom of Religion under the ancient Iranian rulers.. At Christmas , I made my second visit and tour of Persepolis. Carved on a wall in these magnificent ruins is a 28 member delegation from all over the Empire and even outside the Empire, lined up with Persian escorts, bringing their tribute or presents to the Persian King.
The presents consisted of cloth, weapons, plants, animals like camels and horses, etc. Even the Arabs were there with their tribute!
Then, as I was studying this great grey wall I noticed something was terribly wrong! A delegation was missing! I mean, after all the ancient Persians had done for the Israeli people you would think they would be first in line with their presents! But they are not! My Iranian guide had no answers.
After I got home, I looked on the Internet for information about this. Jewish people I've talked to have no answers to this great puzzle! And so this disturbing puzzle remains unanswered!
