Potential gold mine A couple weeks ago found myself in Douglas AZ, so naturally had to check the mongering scene in Agua Prieta. Stayed at the Best Western Douglas US Side of the border , which is a nice hotel that is a short minute walk to the border.
For a small town, Douglas has a surprising amount of nice looking women and Agua Prieta is no different. It was a Thursday night pm when we crossed and the town was dead as all hell.
First stop was food at Smokey Rib great BBQ well decorated place run by an ex-pat within walking distance of the border. Gave the girls a your crazy look, finished our Dos XX and bounced. Got a taxi and had him take us to Flamingos around 9 pm. The place was dead only the bartender inside with some shady looking guys hanging outside. Luckily we kept the Cab waiting outside and got out of their quickly. By the way Agua Prieta has an eerie feel if you are caught in the wrong part of town so don't go venturing around without a purpose and knowing exactly where you are going.
