Mercer law enforcement authorities continued to stamp out prostitution in Princeton with a sting operation Thursday. The six-hour undercover investigation focused on Mercer Street and surrounding areas and yielded three arrests.
Monica Combs, 27; Samantha Graham, 20; and Amanda Presutti, 29, all of Princeton, were all arrested after allegedly soliciting an undercover police officer. Howell said. All three women reportedly offered to trade sex for money, while being recorded by audio surveillance equipment on the undercover officer.
Howell reported they were arrested without incident. All three women were transported to Southern Regional Jail in Beaver, where they were held overnight for a video arraignment sometime Friday. Howell pledged that the stings will continue on a regular basis to stem prostitution in Princeton, particularly downtown.
