The bar on the roof has a massive sound system that echoes right down through the building as central section is entirely open. I was also pretty appalled with the solution for toilets for the roof bar. They are just the hotel rooms on the top floor.
So while we were drinking we saw prostitutes take money and disappear for 30 minutes into the rooms with a client. The staff didn't care. So people who are waiting for the sex to finish upstairs look for alternative toilets on other floors and therefore try to enter your room to use the loo. It's quite disturbing to have your door knob rattled all through the night as people try to enter. The hotel also claims that the music finished at 3am. This is not true, at 3. They didn't care, just said 'I can't leave reception'.
After the music finishes you then have even more noise as everyone leaves down the stairs, shouting and screaming. No effort whatsoever is made by the staff to get them to leave quickly or be respectful of the people trying to sleep. This goes on until about 4. Then the staff start clearing up upstairs by throwing glass bottles into a bin and shouting at each other.
I got to sleep well after 5am. Breakfast is the served until 10am. No doubt as a money saving thing as there's no way you will be up in time to eat it. The whole place is a joke.
