Best roof top bar is on 7th floor of Kossak Hotel 5 mins walk from Novotel. Cafe Oranzarie sp has fantastic panoramic view. Pint of beer in bar on main square is around 12 zloty, cocktails zloty. Bars and restaurants just off main square are cheaper and just as good. Krakow shuttle tour company have provided us with airport transfers, Auschwitz Birkenau day trip and Salt mine day trip - excellent all round service well recommended.

Flew back last night having been in gdansk and warsaw first, Krakow compared very very touristy,but weather was hotter. A lot of the attractions though are a triumph of form over function, the under the cloth hall one only starts making sense at the end , schindler museum is really Krakow through the war.

I see many reviews for the museum, here on TripAdvisor, complaining that there isn't much about Schindler, that is extremely unfair on a museum that makes no claim to be about the man, some people need to research more what they are visiting. Phil c you are right its sign posted as the Oscar schindler factory and the permanent exhibition is as you say. I did find it interesting as a comparison to my mothers stories of living through the war in gdansk.
